First, a rugby theme..
And now for some Brummie polar bears..

I love Nick Parks! 🙂
You know, Gary the bear sounds just like blickybadger.
😀 – I’m not great with regional English accents, but I just love the Birmingham accent. Actually, I don’t think Nick Parks was involved with this. The animator was Pierre Coffin. Lenny Henry was involved too – I’m not quite sure if he did Gary’s voice-over.
Check out Gary’s Fall if you enjoyed this one.. It’s excellent!
Thanks, Colm. The bears made my Wednesday Evening 🙂
… but I must admit that there were moments I missed subtitling…
You you didn’t get The Osbornes then? 😀
Umm, no…
Ozzie Osborne has the archetypal Brummie accent, I think..
Ha! Gary’s Fall is good too. 🙂
The bears are the same ones used in Creature Comforts (accents and all), which is why I thought it was a Nick Parks film.
I don’t usually distinguish regional accents well either. When I lived in Bristol they people could almost tell which street you lived in based on accent (well, not in my case – they just pretended not to understand me instead).
